Every year we are blessed as football supporters to see and marvel in the talent that each league has to offer us all around the world.

In this 4-part article I'm going to look at each team and tell you why the player I have chosen will be the "Go To Man" or even the "surprise package" for this years Serie A season.

So let's now take a look at the 2nd group of players that I believe will pop up and make a name for themselves or be the "Go to Guy" in this years edition of the Serie A:

ACF Fiorentina - Giuseppe Rossi

Yes you could argue that the "viola's" go to man this year is new signing Mario Gomez but I have one interest only for this side and that is the come back from Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi who will be making a late surge for selection at next years World Cup. The injury he suffered at Villareal was horrific but what made it worst was that he re-injured his ACL leaving him out for 10 months. He was sold to Fiorentina for 10 million Euros and finally this season he is back to full fitness and available for Vincenzo Montella's outfit. Expect to see number 49 on the score sheet this year.

Genoa C.F.C - Francesco Lodi

He recently joined the club from Catania signing for 3 years and has been given the prestigious number 10. The 29 year old will be Genoa's go to man and create a partnership with fellow new signing Alberto Gilardino. Last season Genoa lacked a creative midfielder and I believe Lodi will do just the job justice.

F.C Internazionale Milano - Mauro Icardi

This Argentinean striker handed the number 9 jersey formally worn by Inter greats Eto'o and Crespo will fit into Mazzarri's side quite well. I believe he is the perfect addition to this what I believe is rebuilding phase that Inter Milan are going through. Icardi spent last season at Sampdoria where he scored 11 goals in 33 games. The 20 yr old will also be hoping to stamp his authority and get a glimpse at a few senior appearances for the Argentinian side as they prepare for the World Cup in their own continent.

Juventus F.C - Simone Pepe

Last season the the player I would have chosen would be Paul Pogba but he has already made his Juventus impact. Pepe has been around with the Turin giants for 4 years now but rarely has he featured in the winning Antonio Conte formula due to an on going groin injury. He is still battling that injury but with the correct rehab and treatment, Conte will slot him on either the left or right of Pirlo where he will be looking for Pepe's darting runs. If he can have an injury free season I expect a World Cup call up for this talented winger.

S.S Lazio - Felipe Anderson

Lazio purchased Anderson from Brazilian side Santos for a fee of 8 million Euros after he made 59 appearances. The 20 year old will be looking to make the midfield his in this very talented Lazio side. Expect him to link up well with Miroslav Klose and his Brazilian compatriot Hernanes. There could be some goals in this young future Brazilian star.

I hope Italian Serie A fans are getting excited as much as I am for this season because it is going to be one hell of a great year with names such as Tevez, Higuain, Reina, Llorente and Balotelli gracing the Italian pitches it is sure to be eventful.

Until next time - Keep loving Football
