Hull City Vs Stealthy Chelsea

Article by Jay Bain

Is there ever a good time to play Chelsea? The squad they have is a credit to some good mangers of both the past and today. As proud of Hull City as I am, I know this will be a hard game to take anything from. José is no fool and he is well aware of us as a team. We sit in 10th because maybe too many teams have overlooked us.

Hull have had a sickness bug and harbour concern over 9 players. McShane is out to up to 4 weeks with an ankle injury. Personally I hope Frayatt gets a chance to start over Graham as they are level on goals and we need to see if Matty can cut it in the Premier League.

Chealsea are without Lampard and Ivanovic and both are expected to be out for a month. This will be a game for some of the fringe players at Chelsea and we may see Mata get a start to showcase himself as he seeks first team football before the World Cup.

Personally, I think Hull will be lucky to get a draw from this game and a win would justify an icing to our season's cake. No one is talking about Chelsea as they climb the table and stay around the top..

If they call back Lukaku they need to sign nobody else and could do so if Ba goes out the door.

I predict:

Hull 1- Chelsea 3
